The group plan is entitled "Using VoiceThread: Let Your Students Be Heard!". Our goals are to increase technology integration and student engagement. Our objective is to show how to set up VoiceThread and examples for K-12. Our plan is to introduce teachers to VoiceThread to help increase student engagement.
Teachers can use VoiceThread with no prerequisites. They will need computers and microphones along with images that can be scanned or downloaded. Examples will be shown during the workshop. Links to these examples are in another blog portal entry. Please view these for examples of science, math, and language arts examples. A survey URL is included that the teachers will respond to. Please let us know if you have any questions or thoughts about our plan.
As the group leader, I would like to say how much I have benefitted from the group plan and will be sharing with my fellow teachers what I have learned.
